Kristy Zadrozny, MS, Marriage and Family Therapy
Clinical Associate & Director of Clinical Training

The process of finding a therapist is not always easy. Kristy prioritizes the collaborative relationship between therapist and client, creating an open and non-judgmental therapeutic alliance. Her approach is client-centered, practical, and systemic, meaning she works with clients on the individual level and as people in relationships. Collaboratively, you may explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, family of origin, and the contextual circumstances of your life, with the goal of cultivating insight and building on your potential for leading a self-actualized life.

Kristy offers a genuine and warm foundation to all sessions. She has over 15 years experience working in Reproductive Health including pregnancy, postpartum and parenting concerns. Many of Kristy’s clients work in the fields of journalism, fashion, mental health and healthcare, education, law, technology and design and find therapy enormously helpful for achieving better results, an improved work-life balance, better relationships and reduced stress. Additionally, Kristy has familiarity working with folks navigating challenging relationships, anxiety, substance misuse, disordered eating, self-esteem/personal growth/career-related issues, class, gender, family of origin, and cross-cultural concerns.

Outside Mindful, Kristy is a Mindfulness-Based educator and holds various faculty positions with the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association. Kristy has a BA from Purchase College in Cultural Anthropology and an MS from Iona University in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kristy is also a meditation practitioner, and a city gardener.
