At Mindful NYC, we believe in an accessible and integrative approach to psychotherapy. As such, Mindful’s Resident Training Institute bridges the need for quality clinical training and supervision to emerging clinicians while offering affordable therapy for all New Yorkers, regardless of income. We adhere to the highest ethical standards for training mental health clinicians and thoughtfully match clients with exceptional clinicians.

Vision:  

  • Contract with master-level clinicians completing their graduate training. 

  • Contract with professionals with life and professional experience to ensure clinical practice readiness.

  • Assure that Resident Interns maintain the highest ethical standards

  • Provide accessible and affordable therapy to individuals, couples, and families regardless of income. 

  • Provide accessible telehealth therapy.

  • Provide educational opportunities to support clinicians in business development, expansion, and maintenance. 

  • Provide continuing education credits when possible

  • Create opportunities for Resident Interns to actively engage in Mindful’s greater mission and provide a long-term professional home for our clinicians.

  • Provide an introduction to a wide range of perspectives, modalities, and therapeutic tools

  • Provide financially and geographically accessible educational opportunities

Clinical Fellowship Training

Mindful’s Clinical Fellows have completed their graduate school training and are master level clinicians. They are in the final stages of obtaining state licensure and are advancing their skills as clinicians.

Resident Intern Training

Mindful’s Resident Interns are in graduate school completing the requirements for graduation. They work closely with Mindful’s supervisors to ensure clinical readiness.
